A one-time installation and a recurring maintenance service have different scopes and billing patterns. The estimate should make that difference explicit instead of forcing both into the same format.
Describe the materials, labor, equipment, disposal, and other significant work included in the project. State exclusions or assumptions that could affect the final scope so later additions can be documented separately.
For mowing, seasonal service, or another repeating arrangement, identify the service cadence, what each visit includes, and what will be quoted separately. Price and margin decisions are business-specific; the software should record the terms rather than prescribe them.
ProQuote can handle a one-time estimate and invoice alongside Pro recurring billing. That lets the contractor keep project work and repeating maintenance in the same account without presenting them as the same type of job.
