How to Quote a Recurring Cleaning Contract

Published by ProQuote · October 2, 2026

A recurring cleaning quote works best when it defines the service that repeats instead of treating every visit like a new one-time job. The customer should be able to see the cadence, included work, price, and what falls outside the standing agreement.

Define the repeating scope

List the service frequency and the tasks included on a normal visit. If certain rooms, deep-clean tasks, supplies, or seasonal work are priced separately, identify that before the customer approves the quote.

  • •Service frequency or cadence
  • •Included rooms, areas, or tasks
  • •Recurring price and payment terms
  • •Add-ons and work that requires a separate estimate

Separate the initial or one-time work

A first-time deep clean, move-out service, or post-construction clean may have a different scope from the ongoing maintenance visit. Quote materially different work separately so the standing recurring price does not become ambiguous.

Move the approved recurring work into billing

ProQuote keeps the quote and customer record together, and Pro recurring billing can generate later invoices on the configured schedule. If the scope or price changes, update the arrangement rather than continuing to bill terms that no longer match the service.
